Todd Viegut, President / VP Corporate Development – Mr. Viegut comes to NetPriva with a 20-year track record bringing advanced technologies to market. He is a seasoned veteran with a demonstrated track record of positioning advanced technologies into new markets for streamlined product growth, corporate growth and corporate level transactions. Prior to joining NetPriva, Mr. Viegut was COO of Rocksoft, a South Australian firm, where he was instrumental in cultivating product direction and positioning the company in new markets leading to their sale within a few year period to ADIC (subsequently acquired by Quantum). Prior to joining Rocksoft, Todd managed worldwide marketing at Storage Computer Corporation where he was instrumental in driving some of the industry's first storage wide area networking projects. His background includes tenures with Vianet Technologies as VP of Business Development and at Infinop which he successfully fostered the sale of to Vianet Technologies. Over the years Todd has held corporate positions with companies such as Ultrak, Connectware, Abbott Labs and Texas Instruments. Mr. Viegut holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and a Masters in Business Policies and Strategies from the University of Texas. Peter Vroom, NetPriva co-founder, Executive Chairman and VP Sales and Marketing – Peter has held sales and CEO positions in the computer industry since joining Burroughs in 1965. In 1970 he founded CMC, a company that developed a range of packaged software and online services for corporate and government customers. His company grew to over 100 people, with offices in Australia and Singapore. In 1997 he founded Vroom & Associates with a focus on assisting clients to turn technology ideas and passion into a business. In this position he has worked with over thirty technology product and services companies. He was instrumental in Rocksoft gaining access to capital early in that company’s life leading to a successful sale of Rocksoft to US interests in 2006. Peter has been the driver in developing the overseas market opportunity for NetPriva. Peter has brought market insight and corporate leadership to NetPriva with extensive experience running software companies, applications and telecommunications knowledge, partnership expertise, and various relationships with other industry players. Peter holds a Master of Science and Technology Commercialization from the University of Adelaide. He has servied on various industry boards, including that of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA). Simon Jolly, Director of Engineering - Simon brings more than 10 years of software development and management experience to NetPriva. Simon is an industry expert in the area of traffic shaping (QoS) and telecommunications networking. Simon spent 4 years with Foursticks where he developed the foundation of the traffic shaping kernel modules currently used by NetPriva. Prior to Foursticks, Simon held various positions with Motorola, including Program Manager, where he developed advanced technologies and has been awarded a US Patent. Mr. Jolly has an undergraduate in Computer Sciences and a Masters degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications Engineering. Alan Noble, Co-founder, Advisor and Director. Mr. Noble founded NetPriva and was instrumental in the vision associated with the HD-QoS platform. Mr. Noble is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of technology and international management experience. In 1996 he founded NetMind in California which was acquired in 2000 by Intellisync, San Jose (NASDAQ:SYNC), subsequently acquired by Nokia (NYSE:NOK). He remained at Intellisync as VP of Engineering until 2002, until joining Foursticks as CTO. The Foursticks core technology was acquired by NetPriva in 2005 and subsequently built into an expansive product offering. Alan has been granted seven U.S. patents and has several others pending. |
