NetPriva Collector is the statistics collection module of the NetPriva product suite used to instantly replay network performance scenarios for application delivery analysis and drill down to the root cause of network performance problems and the improvement of policy based NetPriva quality of service (QoS). Statistics may be held at a per second level for complete recall of network data flows at any point of time (subject to disk space and data retention policies) and may be rolled up to parameter specified intervals of time.

NetPriva Collector supports MySQL and Microsoft SQL server relational data bases. It may be run on Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows server 2003 configurations.

Typically, a single database holds statistics from multiple NetPriva data sources, with each data source identified by a unique identifier.  NetPriva Console or 3^rd-party report writers may then be used to access the database.  

Further, the data from multiple Collector databases can be “rolled up” into a single database by means of SQL queries or 3^rd-party database utilities and report writers.
