Overview
 NetPriva Agent is the desktop / laptop client software component of NetPriva's EPDirect end point software solution for application delivery and network performance management for remote offices, branch offices, and home offices. NetPriva Agent identifies applications, users, and URLs, and allocates and guarantees bandwidth, prioritizes, marks traffic, and brings quality of service (QoS) to the end points of the network.
Agent can link into and complement network performance management tools that you may already be considering or using such as NetPriva EdgeAS or Cisco Routers, or other network management tools that do not provide accurate visibility and control of applications and users. This includes those environments where application traffic is compressed or encrypted.
Agent extends the business benefits of bandwidth and network performance management to all remote offices. Users enjoy consistent response that previously required the expense and overheads of specialist equipment or that was not possible due to security requirements such as encryption.
